SEVEN DAYS: Personal data, drawn as portraits

Seven Days is an ongoing conceptual art project where I gather volunteer’s unique stories in data-sets, and experiment with new ways of visualizing them through drawing. 

The work responds to Big Data. Rather that using people’s data to typecast them, I aim to create intimacy by fleshing out the personal nature of information. 

My hope is that this work can help people build self-awareness and insight. Engaging with people through my materials is my way of expressing care for them. Together, we discover art as a tool for knowing ourselves.
